SUEDES, LEATHER AND FURS
__________________________
The nature of these garment demand specialist knowledge.
Dirt and Body oils in suedes and leathers can be harmful to the texture if not properly cared for.
Unfortunately, suede gets dirtier faster and is more difficult to clean than other items in your wardrobe.
It’s vital to keep suedes away from wet conditions as water damages the leather by removing oils,
making it look rugged and chafed.
Although suede can be waterproofed or stain-proofed, there’s no guarantee against possible
staining and damage.
We specialise in the cleaning and care of any suede and leather garments, including upholstery,
gloves, jackets, handbags, and shoes.
If you happen to get caught in the rain with a suede garment, try the following:
- Blot as much water from the item as much as possible with paper or cloth towels.
- Let the item dry at room temperature – do not apply heat to speed dry.
- Compact wet shoes or hats with absorbent paper so that they hold their shape as they dry.
Then bring the garment to us to do the rest!
