About Us

We believe in order to be successful all you need to do is take ‘something ordinary and turn it into something extra ordinary….We do this by having love for what we do and infusing it into our work…This is our secret

Lindus Dry Cleaners was born in Sydney 1963 by Serge Pelleri.

Serge worked tirelessly with his wife Margaret day and night to build their business in the back of their home in Merrylands.

Today 54 years later it is still family owned and going strong with a presence of 8 stores in the Hills and Northern District

His son Peter Pelleri lovingly took over the reins in the 90’s and vigorously drives the Lindus team.

Daughter Annabelle successfully manages the Dural shop whilst Serge still remains an active and integral member of the team continuing with machinery, marketing and importing.

Within this time Lindus has achieved its reputation as one of Sydney’s most elite garment and dry cleaning specialist including Peter being chosen as Chanel 9’s Today Tonight show as their ‘Go to guy’ for his fabric care expertise.

Today we see this Father and son team; aggressively take the business of dry cleaning into the future with advanced technological state of the art equipment and cleaning. Proudly boasting 24hr dry cleaning 7 days a week with the introduction of the ingenious automation system called the RED BOX in all its shop locations.

It is said we spend a third of our lives sleeping. If you're spending that much time in one place, it's important to make sure that it's clean. So how often should you wash your Doona? Well, apparently according to studies it's every three months, and I'm not even including those of us (including myself) that sleep with their furbabes. It's alarming because our many customers tell us they wait all year for our annual furnishing special.
Wait no longer......Our up to 40% off furnishing special ends 28th Feb. Don't miss out. 😊Have a wonderful day Sydney it's gorgeous out there!
Who are you sleeping with?
If you could put your doona under a microscope, you might be surprised by what you would see. 🔦🔬🕷💩👻👽There are all sorts of things lurking in between our sheets. Almost every bed has dust mites, which are microscopic bugs that feed off of dead skin cells. These little things live, die and reproduce in the same bed sheets that you sleep in. It is estimated an average of 10 million dust mites live inside your bed? Eeek that’s like a thriving, hustling bustling city partying and bursting with bacteria on the inside your doona every night while you sleep.
Is it any wonder so many of us suffer from mysterious ailments and insomnia?
The only way to keep these critters under control is to wash your bedding on a regular basis. Otherwise, you may develop an allergy, or even a lowered immune system. Cleaning your quilt every 3 months or the very least after each season will remove the impurities and mites that are trapped in the filling, and you will find that after it is cleaned, much of your quilt’s original spring and loft will return.
